Keetle is a kettle boil-timer for iPhone. We built it to respect your privacy: Keetle has no user accounts, no servers of our own, and no analytics, tracking, or advertising. This policy explains the limited data the app handles and why.
Your kettles and your boil history are stored only on your device (via Apple's on-device database) and in your own device/iCloud backups. We never receive, see, or store this information. Deleting the app removes it.
With your permission, Keetle uses your approximate location to estimate tap-water and room temperature from local weather, which makes the boil-time estimate more accurate. Weather is provided by Apple Weather (WeatherKit); location-based weather requests are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy terms. We do not store, log, or share your location. Location is optional — you can deny or revoke it in iOS Settings, and the app still works with a default estimate.
Keetle Premium is sold through the Apple App Store. Purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple; we receive only your entitlement status (whether Premium is active) — never your name, card, or payment details.
No other third parties receive your data. Bundled open-source components (fonts and animations) collect nothing.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone. There is nothing to sell — your data stays on your device.
Keetle is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
Because your data lives on your device, you are in control: revoke location access in iOS Settings at any time, and delete all app data by removing the app. Manage or cancel a subscription in the App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
